According to the 2002 National Housing and Population Census, the Sebei Diocese has a total of 8,245 orphans out of a population of 200,000.
Each year the children of Christchurch sponsor an outreach program to help other children throughout the world. Once again this year, the children's outreach program is raising funds for the orphans of the Sebei Diocese.
During Lent, the children will sponsor "
The Giving Tree" which will have pictures of some of these orphans on it. For $215 you can adopt an orphan. Covenant groups may adopt a child or partial adoptions are available.
